Extreme swimmer, Anna Wardley is completing her 2012/13 Five Island Swim Challenge this year.
The next swim is around Jersey and her window for doing this one is 21st-28th June.
Then she’s taking on Tiree in August. [Aren’t the basking sharks around Tiree at that time? They’re gentle creatures but massive and should distract her from the pain of an endurance challenge of this order.
The final swim of the series will be round the Isle of Wight in September.
Anna swims for Swim Africa, the Samaritans and for sailor, Ellen MacArthur’s cancer charity. She’s already in training, at this coldest and windiest part of the year – but a girl’s go0tta do….
